Question Does this protien smoothie sound okay?

I was thinking of making this to have after lifting tomorrow morning, how does it sound?

1 scoop whey protein powder
1/2 c. non fat vanilla yogurt
1 c. ff milk
1/2 c. blueberries
1/2 c. strawberries

I'm new to the whole protein powder thing and I thought it'd be a good idea to make fruit smoothies with. Any ideas let me know!

I'm not a yogurt and milk person but it sounds good. Although I usually just take a protein shake with fruit salad I have put frozen cherries (sweet & sour) into a blender with a chocolate whey and some water. (very yummy)

I was kind of iffy on mixing yogurt AND milk in this smoothie. Should I take one of them out?

Oh, from a protein state they're probably both good. I just don't do dairy products as a rule (sometimes a little cheese, but that's it).

I wouldn't. The yogurt usually has simple sugars (good for the insulin response) and milk has galactose for liver replenishing. I'd say it's good.

You might consider Kefir to yogurt which is higher in protein.

Depends on which flavor you get.

I like the raspberry flavored kefir. Vanilla is ok. There is also strawberry and a few other exotics.

There is also a plain if you don't want the added sugar.
