Default Should I skip stage 6?

Hi Everyone,
Originally I had planned to just go in order and do all the stages. Now I am wanting to know what you all think. First those who are that far along, what did you do and why? Second, what do you think I should do based on the following? My softball season starts again in 2 weeks. It is just a rec league, but still. We play once a week, sometimes a double header. Is stage 6 really draining for those of you who did it? Would you recommend planning my 2 days rest to land on game day? Alternatively it is swim suit season and my low body is just holding on to every last bit of fat. My upper body is where I want to be but man, I want my low body to lean out. That tempts me to move on to stage 7, but once again how might that affect game day? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I start softball next week too...rec league and am ready for stage 6 as well. I wasn't planning on changing anything with the program. Just probably will schedule my lift days around my softball days. I think the strength and muscle added in this stage will help the leaning out process in stage 7.

I am starting 6 tomorrow, so I don't have any insights as far as how draining it is. However, I would think that the focus on core & upper-body strength would be highly beneficial to softball!

And, if you want your body to be lean, you should lean out your diet. Stage 7 isn't going to automatically drop all the fat off you if you haven't been losing fat in the other stages.

Thanks Ladies,
I think I will just go ahead with stage 6 as planned. I definitely have been leaning out, just not my lower body. My upper body is cut right now. I hope to see some increase power in my hitting this season after all this heavy lifting!

I went and did some batting practice Saturday, and I def noticed some difference from last year. I hit a couple past the girls line, and that's something for me LOL.

Mel,
That's exciting! We are supposed to have practice Friday evening so I will be interested to see if I can notice any changes.

I don't plan to skip stage 6. I think it would be totally awesome to do a chinup or pullup. Hey, he got me able to do pushups so anything's possible!
