Wow, not really wanting to go after Nat....but, we're headed off for family vaycay for a week tomorrow, so here goes.
This month, I am averaging 4 lbs more weight and about 2 percent up on body fat. This is after a failed attempt at TNT and some serious diet indecision.....not a good combo.

I feel fantastic!!! holding off on measurements this month, I am totally swollen all over from the major trauma, but I am very very happy with my progress. I will post a pic in my log of where I was even three and a half years ago, which wasn't any where near my heaviest.

I lifted heavy and added more carbs to be actually able to lift heavy last month and gained weight. All measurements went up…I hope at least some of it is not fat! June’s cutting month for sure.
Hmmmmm.... When you look at the numbers it seems as though I did relatively nothing these past 6 months. My week 4 numbers are almost exactly where my numbers are today. Makes me wonder if I should have skipped the bulk period.
Weight: 5'8" From 160.5 to 140 -20.5 lbs
Chest: From 40 to 37 -3.0"
Below Chest: From 32 to 29.25 -2.75"
Stomach below belly button: 39.5 to 35.5 -4.0"
Waist at narrowest: From 32.5 to 27.75 -4.75"
Hips: From 41 to 37.5 -3.5"
Thigh: From 24.25 to 22.0 -2.25"
NOTE: Went to a smaller bikini bottom this month! Still working on those last few pesky pounds of fat. Will finish out the challenge focused on fat loss and then will concentrate on muscle/strength next.
I really haven't checked out the women's challenge updates until today. But I have to say that I'm impressed as hell with the changes everyone has made. You all look like different people, in a good way, than you were when you started. Congratulations to all of you.

I am SOOOOO offically bummed that I am not still in this challenge as it would do me a world of wonder to be included in such fantastic company. Everyone who has stayed in with this challenge and has posted their pics is just beyond amazing. I feel like I can't say the right words to describe how it feels to see how each and every one of you have changed your bodies in such positive ways. All of you look totally hot and should be so proud to put on those new swimsuits this summer!
So, . . . when's the next challenge starting??
So......if anyone wants to start up another challenge, I am game. I was thinking of making the start date 8-4 (the first Monday in August just to give ourselves a little break) and have starting pics due on that date. I can start a sign-up thread after this challenge ends -- some sometime mid-July. I was also thinking we could have it go to the end of the year, with final pics due January '09. Any thoughts? Same rules would apply to this challenge -- in a nutshell, pics and stats must be posted by the first monday of every month.
I went back to the week it was posted. I think there were enough people that it sounds like this will be a go.
I didn't expect much progress this month and I didn't have much either. No excuses, I need to button down and get serious if I want to end this challenge on a high note vs. a slow dirge I have going now. I'm doing good, but I know I could be doing much better.

No great progress this month either. It has been two weeks since I have worked out and monitored my diet. My family has been stuck with colds and the flu so we have been in survival mode. I guess I have one more month to kick it into gear. I am up for another challenge starting up in July! While I haven't made great progress, it keeps me accountable and has helped me be more consistent.
Don't have a front picture due to technical difficulties. Also, I am wearing different shorts because all my other pairs of workout shorts are in the washer. (I had DH take pics last night, but they were all too dark when I started the wash and then started loading them here. So, I had my daughter take pictures with the shorts DH insisted I needed when on vacation in Mexico. Generally, I try to avoid any clothes with anything written on the ass, but those are the only dry ones I have right now.)
