Default Skipped Stage 1, in Stage 2...go back?

I did select exercises from NROLFW for a couple weeks, then finished half of Stage 2 when I stumbled upon this forum. (Didn't start with Stage 1 because like many others, I thought it might be too easy.)

From the looks of it what I've done isn't recommended. However, I have noticed significant improvement in the form of muscle gain and weight loss in the past month by doing the exercises and by following the meal plans in the book.

My question is, should I stop what I'm doing and go back to Stage 1, then do Stage 2 over again when I'm done? I'm just worried that I'll stop getting good results/gain more weight or something.

I don't know the answer to your question. What I can say is, if you're using heavy enough weights, you'll see results with stage 1. If you're not using heavy enough weights, you won't. But the same can be said about all stages.
If you want to follow Alwyn's program as written, which most of us are doing, by all means go back and do stage 1. Some of the exercises in there are a lot of fun!

Especially the prone jack-knife. The other people in the gym have lots of fun watching me fall off the ball.

I personally believe that Alwyn has designed the program the way it is for a reason. Nothing is easy of you're lifting heavy enough... I am doing the exercise program as it is written. I am on Stage 2 Workout B2

I think I would do stage 1 if I were you... I was like many here who thought Stage 1 looked easy on paper - but as others have already said - lift heavy enough and it's NOT easy.

I liked it so much, I actually have thought about going back and doing it again - great workout in very short amount of time... what's not to love? I'm just finishing stage 3 now though, so I'm sticking with NROLW at this point...
