Default Should I start over or pick up where I left off?

I had completed a full 3 weeks (+ 1 workout) of stage 1 but ended up taking a break the past 2 weeks (had out of town guests, my middle kid had surgery, I had a terrible migraine and felt like complete crap for days on end...) I think I'm good to get back into it now, but I'm not sure if there is a right/good place to pick it back up.

Should I just do the whole thing over again, stay on the same workout # but cut back on the weight a bit, or does it just not matter and I'm overthinking it...???

I know this is one of the things that people probably ask all the time, sorry!

I took ten days off and had to move down slightly in weights, but picked up where I left off and TRIED with the weights I was using before. If that makes sense.

!
I'm pretty sure one of those approaches will be perfect for you and neither of the other two would be detrimental or horrible.
Which is which - no idea.

Sometimes I'll do an extra workout or two of a section that I don't really think I've mastered or feel that I've done, or gotten what I want out of it. I would play it that way and if you don't feel like you're really satisfied with your progress, do another week....I usually take the first workout as a "try out" workout, if I don't do well, form, whatever, I just repeat it. You're in this for life, not just bikini season, right?
