Default OFFICIAL WOMEN'S CHALLENGE: Weekly Whatever Thread ... week 20 of 26

Ladies, it's the home stretch!! We are in week 20.

Question of the week: Do you have any plans to kick it up a notch or change things up during these last few weeks?

2nd question of the week: I want to say that being accountable to all of you has really helped me and I intend to keep taking monthly pics and stats to ensure I am on track with my goals. So......if anyone wants to start up another challenge, I am game. I was thinking of making the start date 8-4 (the first Monday in August just to give ourselves a little break) and have starting pics due on that date. I can start a sign-up thread after this challenge ends -- some sometime mid-July. I was also thinking we could have it go to the end of the year, with final pics due January '09. Any thoughts? Same rules would apply to this challenge -- in a nutshell, pics and stats must be posted by the first monday of every month.

Funny you should ask this! Susan and I were chatting yesterday and we've made a little pact for the month of June. We're still working on the details of our plan but it'll be hellish. I've taken it very easy on both the eats and workout sides of things over May so I'm ready for some massive intensity! We're calling our plan "June Doom".

That sounds great, actually. I'd certainly appreciate a month's break in there but I'd look forward to a new challenge after that.

Well, I'm officially on a diet break for a week - so I'm sure my check-in for this month won't be the greatest - BUT once I'm done with this break, I'm ready to hit it with 100% focus and get rid of the rest of the flab. Not really going to be changing anything, but definately intending to kick things up a notch and maintain 100% focus til the end!

I'm up for another challenge - being accountable and having to report to ya'll has helped me, too!! Sign me up!

I'd love to participate in a challenge for the next go-round. I'm thinking about doing NROL hypertrophy, or maybe something from Rippetoe's practical programming book. Something to really work on strength, now that I'm a lot closer to my fat loss goal.

Count me in on the next challenge too as I am going to miss my original goal on this one I am afraid. (I won't hit 10% until end of summer)

My trainer has my main game plan in his head so I cannot really know just yet if we are going to kick it up, but I somehow suspect that we will. He likes to see results as much as I do and I am ready to get on with it already.

I'm thinking about it (once I get past the public pictures thing). Maybe I'll be seeing some changes by then, or at least during the 26 weeks of the challenge.

I'd like to participate in the next challenge too...provided that my camera is fixed by then and I'm not on vacation for the start.

I can't believe only 6 weeks are left! Time surely flies....At the moment I am kicking it up a notch with adding some extra fat-mobilizing tools, like HIIT variations. So yeah, just like Jane said, it's a home stretch. As far as challenge...any thoughts on what kind of challenge it might be.

I'm thinking the same as now....state goals and then strive to meet them. We started this challenge with 54 and we now have 17. Maybe even just for accountability. We can have a fun only 'most changed' vote at the end, just like this challenge.

Did James Brown get down? Yes, but it is not so much with my workouts, but the dang food. While my belly may be shrinking, I just want this fat gone. Gone. Gone. I am playing around with some different food options and tracking my progress. Plus, I am going to get some metabolic testing done, which will narrow some things down for me and then........it's on!

I am absolutely "in" for another challenge. It has helped me to be accountable to you all and while some of us have had our set backs, it is so much easier to push and get back into it, with you gals being around. (wow, that is one heck of a runonsentence) And shoot, I like being around here, with like-minded people who are also busting their butts to meet their goals.

Question of the week: Do you have any plans to kick it up a notch or change things up during these last few weeks?

I have purchased Warp Speed Fat Loss and started it this week. Thats as far as I've gotten - its a one month program. So after I complete this I will probably return to NROLW stage 7 or Fat Loss III. All depends on the results I achieve with this program.

Next Challenge? I like the idea of posting our goals especially, it will help to know what people are striving for since we are at varied levels of fitness, and will help us encourage each other more than now - if thats possible.

I'm heading into Phase 5 next week - def going to take it to the next level. I love the results I'm seeing, and eating is gradually getting better.

I'm in! -- As long as my lottery # for the NYC marathon doesn't get pulled. Then, I will probably have to focus on more endurance training instead.

I've been too soft on my diet lately, so the plan is to crack down for these last few weeks. Only six?!

Yes, count me in for the next challenge. Being accountable has been a huge help!
