Default OFFICIAL WOMEN'S CHALLENGE: Weekly Whatever Thread ... week 17 of 26

*DON'T FORGET - PICS due by next Monday, May 5*

We are in week 17! Time flies when you're having fun, right?!

Question of the week: The six-month challenge will be over soon. Have you thought about your goals for the last 6 months of the year? Will you be making any major changes to your current workouts, eating, goals, etc?

Next week! LOL!

I haven't thought so much about goals for the next six months as I have about keeping to a regular routine. After a year of trying to stick to a regular exercise routine I've finally done it! There's no way I'm gonna let that slide. So maybe that in itself is a goal.

Yes I think I understand my direction. My plans are to start cutting sometime in the next couple of weeks and do that until Aug or Sep. I should be at 10% by that time. Once I've had a chance to see what that feels like to me and how I look, I will allow myself to go up to 14 or 15% bf and maintain that through end of Nov. (I am pretty certain I will do my first marathon somewhere in this timeframe as well) In Nov I will do another bulk which I hope will last until April. Then it will be cut time again. I want to get bigger and bigger until such time that this all gets boring....

For some reason I found this funny!!! So what happens when it DOES get boring??

My plans are to continue to drop the fat, and once I hit somewhere in the 140's (ish) then Leigh and I will work on targeting actual body comp changes. Basically I'll find a picture of a physique I want and I'll tell her, and she'll give me what I need to get me there!

I would like to find another structured program to follow. I love going to the gym with a clear plan in place. I still have some stubborn fat hanging on my lower half and I would love to see if I could get rid of it.

Then I come up with some other crazy, wild-ass hobby and jump in with both feet to keep me occupied all while I creep back up to 40% bf.

Seriously this will be with me for life I am pretty sure in some way. At some point I will either be competing or I will get bored of the bulk process. It is seriously hard work (way harder than cutting) and very slow progress. Right now it is fascnating to watch my body comp change and I can live with all the eating but someday it might all get old. I suspect at that tme I will just maintain a nice body with some fun lifting programs and good diet.

No major changes. Just more of the same little-by-little improvements as I learn more.

Hmm, I don't have a plan but to keep doing what I am doing. I have some ideas on programs, but since I am working with my trainer and plan on keeping that up - I'll let him figure out my 2X a week with him and I may look into something for the times I am on my own.

I think I'll try NROL after NROL4W and see how I like it. Might add a spinning class as they sound fun too and maybe also some martial arts lessons.
