A co-worker forwarded this to me. I thought I would share.

That's really great. Being 21, I can hardly imagine myself at 40, let alone at an age like 95. But I've always wondered what kind of exercise I'll be doing when I get to be much older. The most I've ever seen people over 60 or 65 doing is walking or swimming, but I think I would be sad to have to resign myself to that after years of pushing my body to the limit. I hope that I'm alive at 95, and that I can be like that woman!

That woman is my idol.

You really can't imagine yourself at 40? I can - but more fun, I can imagine myself at 60, too. And boy, does 60 look fun. I'm going to curse like a sailor, drive a motorcycle, and cat call hunky young men. And oh, of course, lift heavy. I'm the only person I know who's excited for getting old.

Imagine all the awards you'd win as a 95-year-old powerlifter? Pretty much just for not being dead.

Live slow, die old, and lift heavy - that should be the new motto of weight lifting.

I can't wait for my 60s when I can retire, get a camper, and just go. I've got the best role models for it too. My parents are both in their 60s-dad will be 70 in Nov. They load up the truck and camper with their bikes and kayaks and go from state park to state park. They go back to their house for about 1 week periods to refuel and do the laundry, then hit the road again. That's the life I want.
I'm want to be my mom!

My kids'll be out of the house (or at least done college) and the mortgage paid off when I turn 50 (if things stay on schedule)... I'm gonna have some F U N !!!!! If DH is nice, I'll even let him come along for the ride

I couldn't imagine myself at 40 when I was younger... now that I'm 40, I don't FEEL "40" - I'm just me.

Default my inspiration

Here is who keeps me motivated I learned about her about a year ago through reading my Oxygen mags., some people like her some don't...I do I think she's great! She is currently 49 years old and didn't start taking care of herself until she was 40...I myself just made 39 so she is definitely a huge motivator and inspiration!

At 48, 60 doesn't seem so far away... I have to admit, though, I've never felt better in my life!!

Haha, not really! Maybe its because I don't really have any idea what I want to do with my life yet, so I just can't really develop a mental image of myself. But you sound like you're going to be a really fun 60 year old!
