So apparently a woman doing a one-armed DB snatch is a strange sight...
because last night while doing them at the gym two trainers came over to me and were like "wow, we have never seen a woman do that exercise" LOL And then a third one came over to watch me and was like "that is impressive". I do have to admit it made me feel really awesome. Especially as I looked around at the other women doing endless sets of bicep curls and tricep kick backs.
Stage 3, workout A is FUN! I was so scared going into it but it just felt great. hardest part definitely the bodyweight matrix!

Haha, I would be like, "Dude, WHATEVER, I have never seen a guy do a set of squats up in here. Balance, my friends."
That said, I AM excited to start my first Stage 3 workout - possibly tomorrow or Saturday if I don't take a rest. I wonder if I'll get strange looks too...

I had one guy ask me what the heck exercise I was doing and when I explained it to him he seemed interested... maybe I'll see him doing it next time I'm there, lol.

Awesome!!
I had a trainer at the gym "help" me with the oly bar. He thought I was unloading it to move it when I was loading it up. He leaves me alone now

Very nice.
And when some bodybuilder type asks you "What muscle does that work?" The answer is "All of 'em."
I think these are fun too. Monday my training partner and I had another guy (former client of mine) join in and do them with us. And we had an audience of other members watching. I don't know what they were thinking. There was probably some admiration and some skepticism among the watchers.

You have got to love the dumbfounded attention sometimes. Most other times I have to crank up the Ipod to block out the few commenting spectators.

That is great. I actually had a guy tell me I was going to hurt myself one day while doing hiit on the tm because I was sprinting at 10 and then jumping off to slow it down. I can only imagine what kind of reaction this exercise will bring.

Well, we're only supposed to do it with like a 3lb dumbbell...right? Maybe I should start with a soup can instead...

This is the fun-est exercise I've probably ever done. Dude, slinging that 25lb DB around was awesome!!

I love this exercise and I have noticed a few odd looks from fellow gym-goers. Nobody has come over to ask me about it yet though.
I love Stage 3 Workout A, but I was disappointed in Workout B. It is not as fun. I guess that is the good part about the short stages, you only have to do them a handful of times before you can move onto the next!!

Dangit I never read ahead! I have no clue what is in Stages 4 and 5!!! Hopefully it's not YTML or single leg squats!

Stages 4 and 5 are exact repeats of stages 2 and 3 with the sets and reps changed up.
