Default Reverse Wood Chop, Stage 3

I'm doing the substitution on this exercise, using a db instead of a pulley.

Should the movement be explosive or slow and controlled.

The book doesn't specify and I had the same question about the horizontal woodchop. I think it should be done explosively, but remember: core stability with hip mobility. Your head and shoulders move as a unit (you don't pull with your arms) and the power of your hips begins the movement. Using a DB or MB changes the line of pull (gravity has a downward pull), so it's a much less effective exercise choice. A resistance band attached to a low support would be a better alternative IMO.

Oh, excellent idea, thanks!! I've been grumbling about the plate version being a crappy substitute.
