Question I need your advice re: where to jump back in after sickness ...

I completed stage 1 two weeks ago and then March 10-14 was my rest week and so I only did cardio. Last week I was to begin stage 2. On Monday of this past week I did Stage 2 Workout A (went well, BTW) and then on Tuesday I came down with a VERY NASTY lower respiratory infection that kept me bedridden until today (Saturday).

My body is terribly worn out from fighting the infection, but I am getting better. I'm eager to get back into the groove of exercising next week, but I also don't want to do too much too soon. I don't think it would be wise to jump right back in and do what I did last Monday on this Monday. But I also don't want to go too long without doing anything either.

What do you guys think I should do?

TIA!!

Not because of illness, but I missed a month of workouts due to schedualling conflicts. I jumped right back in. I would say do the routine but maybe not go all out with super heavy weights at first. Test out what you can handle and listen to your body.

I agree, I'd go back in where you left off, but with lighter weights. Maybe give yourself a week to sort of do the program with lighter weights and not count it towards the whole program, and then start from the weights that you left off and continue on from there...if that makes sense.
