Default Protein Powder Sampler Platter

Many people are always asking "what is the best tasting protein powder", or "what brand mixes best". In my opinion, Optimum Nutritions 100% Whey has the best taste, mixes smoothly in just about anything, and is relatively cheap compared to other brands. Just thought I'd point out, for those of you who didnt already here, Optimum Nutrition just came out with a new variety box. The box has 16 flavors in single serving packets for around 30 bucks. 16 flavors!! Whats next?

I have a bunch of this stuff because its cheap, i throw 2 scoops of it in a cup, mix with as little water as possible and slam it, try my hardest to keep it down (usually can). I think it tastes horrid.

mind you, ive tried several brands and i havn't found one that i actually like.

True Protein (trueprotein.com) has 13 flavors in 50 g sample packs (though they make a lot more than 13 flavors) for $10.99. They include everything from chocolate banana to orange cream to lime and banana bash. I am officially a True Protein devotee. With their yummy powders, I have been gleefully conjuring up gourmet smoothies from chocolate raspberry to orange mint to vanilla green tea since I got them in the mail. Oh, and the best thing -- their protein is so high quality I get 27 grams out of 1 serving instead of the usual 20 grams with most retail protein powders, saving me a ton of calories.

I found the Optimum Nutrition Variety pack here:

http://www.amazon.com/Optimum-Nutrition-100%25-Flavor-Variety/dp/B00168QV0I/ref=sr_1 _2?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=120620847 3&sr=8-2

Looks cool! I've always wanted to try a bunch of flavors. I usually just buy Designer Whey because I can get it at the grocery stores around my house for relatively cheap. But Root Beer Float sounds intriguing...
