Default I'm a convert!!

I was already loving the book and I'm enjoying the workouts so far (Week 2 of Stage 1), but this morning when I did my weigh/measure session, I decided that I'm definitely a convert! I'm up 2.2 lbs this week, but that 2.2 lbs is sheer muscle. I'm down 4.5"!! In just a week! (I normally don't do measurements each week--do it monthly instead--but I thought I'd see how things were going. Wow! I can't wait to see even more progress!

Thanks for this terrific program! I love it!

I'm glad you are enjoying the program!! It really is great. But, is it possible for a woman to gain 2.2 pounds of muscle in a week?? It took me two months to gain 2 lbs of muscle! LOL!

I supose it is possible but it isn't likely. A woman can expect .5 lbs and if she gets 1 that is amazing. Even so I find that if you have a number (bf%) that presents itself over and again for about 3 days that you can predict a trend at least. It seems like this poster has a positive trend and that is what it is all about.

I'm glad it's starting out well for you, regardless of how much of it is muscle I'm about halfway through Stage 1, it's a great program!

Don't confuse lean mass as being just muscle. Lean mass is bones, muscle, water etc. Basically everything in our body that is not fat.
