Default Lowering my squat weight

I lowered my squat weight yesterday after watching all the squat Rx videos and reading info here. I decided to concentrate on full range of motion with my squat, so I had to go down to just the olympic bar.

And I was really getting excited about how much weight I could squat. But those were only parallel at the farthest point.

So I made the decision that full ROM was more important. My sweet DH encouraged me yesterday when we talked about it that one day I will be back up to the weight I was doing, and more, and it will be with a full ROM

Thanks to everyone here for such good advice

Funny I just asked about this in another thread. I may be doing the same thing very soon.

I did the same sort of thing with my deadlifts. Focusing on form is always a good choice!

I did the same thing too - went from 65 - 95lbs and back down to 55lbs. I don't regret it at all. I am back up to 75lbs now.

Now when I think people are watching me I can say in my head.. " See how low my butt gets?.. I know.. I rock.. " lol The things we do to motivate ourselves. I always pretend everyone in the gym is watching me and critiquing my form and it makes me really think about what I am doing.
