Default No more Procrastinating!

Hello all,

My name is Liesa and tomorrow marks the day I start. I can't make up anymore excuses or even use old ones. I am a soon to be 40 year old mom who has used every excuse in the book no to exercise or diet for that matter. That being said, I am now 80 lbs overweight and for lack of a better word "soft". It is time to change yet, I am probably going to have a few questions so I look forward to your expertise and advise.
I was a college athlete so I am not afraid to work hard but 6 months is longer than my season lasted. I will post stats/measurements tomorrow. I am fearfully excited. I have never started a fitness program that is this intense.

Can't wait to start!

Welcome! This is a great place to hang out and I think you will really enjoy NROLW. I just started Stage 2 and am going to go through all the phases and see what happens. I understand procrastination and that is why my goal is to stick with a program for its entirety. Typically, I will exercise and eat well for a short period of time (a few weeks to a couple of months) and then quit. I wonder why I haven't had any great results.

Even though it isn't fun, I recommend posting pictures and measurements. While my first month didn't show much improvement, I am hopeful that over the course of several months there will be positive changes. I also look at it this way, surely I will be in a better spot in 6 months after sticking with a program than looking back after I have wasted time doing nothing.

If you have any questions, be sure to ask. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable.

Best of luck!

Hi! I am about where you are except I got 6 years on ya! I haven't lost weight because of the mega protein they recommend etc etc etc etc LOL!

BUT I have lost inches everywhere! I am about 3 weeks in and I can say NO WEIGHT lost but an inch to an half an inch off of just about everywhere that counts in a little less than a month!

If only the eats would follow....

I'm right there with you. I have lost or gained any weight; however, I've lost about an inch off of my hips. I'm thrilled about it!
