Need a place to put your dumb question? Here ya go:
So, I'm doing Stage 1 Workout B tonight and the lunge set confuses me. Do you to alternating lunges with each leg up to 30 (so, 15 lunges per leg) per set?

yes.
Lunge-Right, Lunge-Left, count 1 -- going to 15
or
Lunge-Right count 1, Lunge-left count 2 -- going to 30.

Thanks! That's what I figured, but I wanted to be sure. I guess if you were doing right/left up to 15 it would be uneven, so it makes sense to go to 30 so each leg gets fifteen reps.
Also: Ouch.

I use the L-R count=1 because it seems less painful to count to 15 than to 30 <g>

OKay one more dumb question:
Is this the same as the step ups in Stage 1? So 1 set of 15 reps per leg?
So 1 set of 15 for the right, then 1 set of 8 prone jackknifes, then the second set of 15 reps for the left leg then the second set of 8 prone jackknifes? That's right, right?
Or is it 15 reps per leg in each set? Like 15 left, 15 right, 1 set prone jack then 15 left 15 right, second set of prone jack?

Nothing like a never ending exercise. I did plenty of that in Basic.
Drill SGT: "The Eight Count Push-up!"
Platoon: "THE EIGHT COUNT PUSH-UP!"
Drill SGT: "IN CADENCE!"
Platoon: "IN CADENCE!!"
Drill SGT: "EXERCISE! One...two...three...four...fiv e...six...seven..."
Platoon: "ONE!"

It's 15 reps on one leg, 15 reps on the other, rest 60 sec, then the prone jack's, rest 60 seconds, and back to the leg step up's.
Fun eh
