Default From CROSSFIT to NROL4W - my first day!

Hey, hi!

I've been doing crossfit since September but since reading TNROL4W (a birthday gift from hubby), have decided to take a break from crossfit and try this out!

I had a good workout today despite thinking I had to do 15 jackknife's instead of 8 (quickly realized....I MUST BE WRONG!), I could only do 11, was happy to see the reps were 8.

Now if only I can wrap my head around eating so much fat and protein and calories. I've been following the Zone but still need to increase calories.

Good luck everyone!!

Jules

Increasing calories is HARD!! It goes against everything I have ever learned or followed, but I have lost 1lb over the last 8 days and I attribute it to my calorie increase. I have eaten healthy and worked out steadily for quite a few years, but I was cutting my calories back to around 1300, and now at 1800-2000 I am losing weight! I am in shock, but I am finally a believer!

Welcome, you'll love it here!

Welcome, Jules. Nose around the forum a bit, there are some good threads on the whole eating subject. It is a hard one for us women to get a grasp on, but it works.
