Fengshway--while your measurements may not have changed, there is a noticeable difference, especially in your waist. You look more pulled in and less soft. Great job.

Well here are my measurements - I'll be honest, I'm not sure how I pulled the loss of almost 4.5 inches off unless I just wasn't eating as much (I did little to no tracking in January. I just didn't have the energy).

Body Part...................January .......February
Right Bicep..................15.25". .........15.5" (+.25)
Left Bicep....................15".. ............15.125" (+.125)
Chest (under Armpits)....46.5"............4 5.5" (-1)
Chest (nipple level)........54.75".......... 53" (-1.75)
Waist*:....................... 47.25"..........47.7 5" (+.5)
Hips:......................... ..46.25"..........46 .125" (-.125)
Right Thigh...................27"... ...........26.625" (-.325)
Left Thigh....................27.5" ............26.75" (-.75)
Right Calf.....................17.25 "..........16.75" (-.5)
Left Calf......................17". ..............16.25" (-.75)
*(taken above the top of the hip bones)

Total Inches Lost 4.325

Default Natalia's stats

Age:33
Height: 5'7.5

One month of NROL4W program.
Personal observation: gaining strength was the most noticeable progress at this stage.

Original weigh-in numbers:

CHEST: 35 in
WAIST (narrowest point): 28 in
TUMMY (widest area): 33 in
HIP: 36.5 in
THIGHS: 20.5R/21L
CALVES: 13R/13.25L
ARMS: 11R/11L
WEIGHT: 140lbs
Body Fat: 16.3% (Omron machine. Normal Mode)
BMI: 21.8 (Omron machine. Normal Mode)

------ one month later (on the day Aunt Flo decided to drop in)---------

* CHEST: 34.5 in
* WAIST (narrowest point): 27 in
* TUMMY (widest area): 32 in
* HIP: 36.5 in
* THIGHS: 20.75R/20.75L
* CALVES: 13R/13L
* ARMS: 11R/11L
* WEIGHT: 141 lbs
* Body Fat: 16.4% (Omron machine. Normal Mode)
* BMI: 21.5 (Omron machine. Normal Mode)

Front...Don't see too much change.

Back. Looks like quads are sticking out more.

Side. Almost identical.

I think this pic shows the growth in legs best:

And this one is just for fun...hamming it up with my 'back pic'

1 month pics and stats:

Weight: 160.5 to 153.0 -- lost 7.5 lbs
Chest: 40" to 39"
Below Chest: 32" to 31"
Stomach right below belly button: 39.5" to 39.25"
Waist at smallest: 32.5" to 30"
Hips: 41" to 40.25"
Right Thigh: 24.25" to 23.5"

**I just started tracking BF with the Omron, so next month I will have a better idea of that measurement. I know it's not 100% accurate, so I'd rather work with a month of trending before reporting on my results**

Ok here's a copy of what I posted in my training log:

Height 5'3" - this one doesn't fluctuate a lot
Weight 127 lb - 120 lb Yeah, it dropped a bit much for 4 weeks but I measured in right after the holidays, with tons of carbs and everything, and then went very low carb with no starches whatsoever...well, except for that one evil stuffed pancake...

Bicep 10.63" - 10.2"
Waist 26.8"- 24.8"
"Low" waist 29.5" - 28.3
Hips 36.2" - 35"
Thigh (R) 20.5" - 20.1" (L) 20.2" -19.5"
Chest 34.6" - don't ask. Too frustrating
MBI 22.5 - 21.3

And the pics, 1/5 and today

I do not see any changes, but in measuring I have lost some inches. In my log are my measurements. Once I get the pics posted, I'll move the measurements over. I'm sorry, I have the workout pants I'm wearing in the first pics packed for our trip, so I had to dig out some others for these pics. I actually think I look better in the pics taken 4 weeks ago. Not sure if it's the difference in pants, or what...kind of disappointing. OK, not kind of....very disappointing.

Waist: 38

Everyone looks great. It is amazing what a month of hard work can do.

Jodi, your losses are tremendous. You lost 4" and that is only from three measurements!! It shows that you have had good fat loss/muscle gain when you have only lost 4 pounds but have lost 4". You need to pat yourself on the back. While it may not be as much as you had hoped, look how much closer you are than if you wouldn't have begun this challenge a month ago.

Nice job ladies!

One thing I see on the side pictures is that your shoulders are further back. Your posture has improved!
