I was supersetting squats and deadlifts until I started the new Woman program. It's a powerhouse superset--very exhausting. I was still able to squat 200 and dl 110. I've stalled out on the dls though. I haven't increased my weight in eons. I think I'm intimidated at the prospect of using the olympic bar instead of the barbells. It's a very long bar!!

I'm at the end of my stage 1 and I did both A and B throughout and it wasn't bad at all. I ended at: 110 deadlifts, 125 seated row, 125 pulldowns, 30pds shoulder press. Squats I'm having terrible problems with so I could only do 40 pounds because of the knee pain. The special workouts that I have next I'm gonna try and get my form correct. I noticed in Phase II workkout B we have intervals. Is this done right after the weights or is this to be done on our off day???

I like the Oly bar over my standard bar.... it feels better and well, it's a lot of fun when you start throwing the 45 lb plates on the end of it.

Phit2at, my understanding is that you do the intervals directly after lifting weights on B day. B was far less taxing than A for me, so it makes sense that you'd do the intervals that day.

Paula, I decided to do my dls with the olympic bar on Thursday, and to up the weight a fair bit (from 110 to 135). Pulled my back muscle! I've been in pain ever since. That bar is going to get a talking to when I go back to the gym to lift on Tuesday!
