Thumbs up New here ... & I love NROL4W

I wanted to join in and say Hi! I'm Heather and have been seriously exercising since September 2007. I have lost 15 pounds and 2 dress sizes, but I had hit the dreaded plateau and I knew I needed to bump things up. So I began searching for a book, a program ... something ...

I had heard about New Rules of Lifting for Women, but never read it. I knew that Alwyn Cosgrove was well-respected and have read his articles and I likes them. So I just pruchased NROL4W this weekend and have devoured it. I love it. It's the first book that I have read that made complete sense to me and in which I felt like the authors knew that I am a real person with a real life.

I did the first workout of Stage 1 - workout A this morning, just as the book says to do it, following with some interval cardio work on the bike and this workout kicked my butt! I love it! I wish I had found it sooner ...

Anyway, it's nice to "meet" you all

I'm new here too!
I started doing NROL/Men last September and have now switched over to the program in NROL/Women. So far I'm loving it, although Stage 2 WO B presented some novel difficulties.
I'm glad to have found this board!

Well versed in the fabric arts here... can't sew or knit worth a damn but I can crochet, cross-stitch and bead!

Welcome! I'm new also, I'm on the last part of Stage 1 - working with an injury but trying to stay focused.
