Ya know, if you wanted a chick gun, they still make Derringers.

it's a .38
I shoot Glock .45 as well, but needed something small and light for my purse. The smallest my hubby agreed on was .38 S&W LadySmith

Sweet!
I've got my eye on the Colt .45 1911 New Agent for CC.

When it comes to personal defense, I think that weapon is fine. I mean, unless you're in a running street shootout with drug lords, do you think you'll need the faster reload or the greater accuracy of the longer barrel?
Also, with a revolver, if you happen upon a dud round, you can pull the trigger again and get the next bullet. With an automatic, you have to clear the round, a time consuming task that can be costly in close quarters.

Very true Cynic. I've got a Kahr PM40 and have done jam-clearing drills 'till I'm blue in the face, but it's still not as fast as just pulling the trigger again.

I was a freshman in college when T2 came out. Linda Hamilton's arms have been my ideal ever since!
Heady (is that the new chick's name?) looks like you could break her in half. But, when I first saw her face, before I scrolled down to the body, my first thought was, "Wow, she looks just like Linda Hamilton." I'm thinking they cast more based on facial appearance than body type. Probably not the best idea, but then when did Hollywood last have a great idea?
Well, maybe she didn't have a month to bulk up before shooting started, but I don't see why she couldn't start now. Linda Hamilton wasn't bulky in T1 because when that movie started, she was just a waitress (right?), not anyone who would be all bulked up. Her life had changed significantly by T2, so it made sense to bulk her up. So maybe with this new girl, they can somehow work up to her becoming gradually more buff. I haven't seen the show yet, so I don't know from what point in Sarah Connor's life they picked up.
Oh, and I agree...in the grand scheme of things--who cares? Sounds like a PR stunt to me: get a controversy going over the new actress after the first episode so more people will tune in to offer their opinions next week. I'll be the studio started the whole thing!

My guess... they're probably painted on, lol... And I'm guessing the cleavage has had some photo-shop help as well

For better or for worse, when I saw this movie at the age of 17, it set in my mind the ultimate definition of female form and capacity. Looking at this photo now I see someone who *never* could have done the long-endurance sequences that "Sarah Connor" went through to fight off the bad things in the movie - not enough reserve there. Brute strength... maybe. But really she looks like an emaciated body builder in the photo above. The legend has it she trained 5 hours a day for 3 months to get that way and it didn't last long.

Don't look at what hollywood tells you what you should look like. I've heard too many guys ask how they can look like Brad Pitt in "Fight Club."

Hehe. I admit that I was much more interested in the skinny-muscle-y figure of Ed Norton in that movie. Brad is way too...much. But that's MHO.

Most likely. Hollywood isn't known for moderation in life and business. Moderation isn't what excites and sells.

Hi! New here and just reading at this point, but this post caught my eye! I've been just screaming about the new Sarah's physique since the show started! It's good to see that others feel the same way! How they could go from Linda Hamilton to this new girl, and have her kicking ass every week...it's laughable!
That pic of LH up there is GORGEOUS! She was and still is my my idea of the perfect body!
