just so everyone knows, in june of 1999, I weighed 228 pounds.

I am 43 years old, and, despite the chunky way I look in my before photos, I am more fit than I have ever been, even when I weighed less in my 20's. so I am here to finish what I started back in 1999. going all the way this time!!!!

start weight 164 (height 5' 6.5')
percent bodyfat 35.33 (mybodycomp.com)
waist 32.5
hips 41

OK, we've got eight so far in with pics! Can't wait to see how many before Monday! We're going to have a lot of logs to keep up with, aren't we! Three more days, girls, and we are off and running (lifting)!

Excellent! I'd prefer the entire 6 months as well. I'm guessing real comp changes will be a slow process for most of us. So, good call. Plus, we can't let the guys think we can't keep up with them!

I'm really excited to see all the interest in this challenge. This will be an amazing 6 months!

I want in too! My book probably wont be here until the middle of enxt week though. But I think that I got both the A and B workouts for stage one...what is the cardio supposed to be...?

8 times each of a and b right?

(a) squats supersetted with pushups 15 X 2

seated row suopersetted with step ups 15 X 2

prone jackknife 15 X 2

(b) deadlift supesetted with DB shoulder press 15 X 2

wide grip pulldown supersetted with lunge 15 X 2

ball crunch 15 X 2

that look right?

Btw, 29 years old, mom of a 1 year old and 3 year old. just competed back in november in a figure competition.

goals: maintain BF around 13-15% weight around 118-120 lbs
gain strength: do 25 real toes pushups and do atleast one pullup by the end of the program

I'll give my stats now. I'm still working on the pix and will post them when I create a training log over the weekend.

Age: 53
5'10"
244 lbs.
51.5% BF
chest 40.5"
waist 43.5"
hips 50.5"
rt. thigh 30"
rt. calf 19"
rt. biceps 15"

I want to get down to 170 lbs, 25% BF or lower. It will probably take longer than six months, hell probably longer than a year but it's either this or continued degeneration. I'm not getting any younger.

Hey Julie...are you gonna do an official start date post which summarized who is involved and what their starting stats are? it's already confusing as to who exactly is "officially" doing the challenge.

All you ladies look awesome by the way...can't wait to see how things progress.

Default Swiss Ball Prone Jackknife

Those were kinda vague for me. I was not completely sure how to perform those. On youtube I found no demonstration on the exercise. So I made my own video and consulted Cassandra Forsythe. She was kind enough to respond. Said I had correct form. I'd like to share this vid with all the ladies here. Hopefully, it will be beneficial:
