Bingo. Who knows what would happen to us if we followed a routine designed for women? Everything could change.

I mean it would be great to finally be able to multitask and to be able to soothe the kids when they're hurt, but I'd sure miss the ability to use logic and to operate a motor vehicle.

I really shouldn't post this late at night... it's bound to cause trouble.

Who know...after following the routine you might even be able to ask for directions when you are lost..

Thanks for the invite - I'll wait to see what the programs look like before I decide only in the sense if they're designed like the fat loss programs in NROL, I'd pass, having just done Fat Loss I, II and III.

I'd also suggest that while people may all be using the same book it think it'd be unlikely they'd be using the same workout. If they have a Break-In program for example, I'd probably skip it since I've been doing similar workouts already.

from what I've read (maybe Leigh's interview?) - it looks like it is designed to be a progression through a series of programs that will take 6 months to complete - rather than the mix and match approach of NROL (though I'm sure one could mix and match them as well). Is the thought that everyone wants to go the whole 6 months - or just start together in the first program?

De-lurking to join in: I am really looking forward to starting this program at the new year! Since the beginning of last year, I've completed both break-ins, and FL I, II, and III from NROL.

I'm eager to read the nutrition information from NROL4W as that's an area I'm hoping to improve upon in the coming year.

I'm definitely planning on going the whole 6 months. I'm going to achieve that chin-up if it kills me!

But, I agree, the progression sounds really intriguing. If it were mix and match like NROL I probably wouldn't be as tempted.

I'm not sure myself until I take a look at the book. I might be into doing the whole thing in progression like Victoria said. That's intriguing.

Just let me know if I need to punch Chris. He's afraid of me already.

And, there's not a pink weight in this house, LOL.

well, if 2 pound pink weights are the prescription, I might have to bow out. I have been lifting like a man for 9 months, and now use 30 pound DB in each hand for bench press for lots of reps. got a few 35 ers the other day......

I preordered my copy today too - I wonder if it takes any longer to make it up to Canada???

I'm currently doing NROL4M and should be done FL3 by the time the new book comes out. Then should it be onto women's or continuing on to HT1? I was actually looking forward to adding on a bit of muscle over the winter months.

Too many NROL's to choose from!

I am definitely in for the whole 6 months. I am a marathon runner with an injured IT band. I am done for the season because of this injury, so 6 months of weight training, fat loss focus will be great for me. when I get back to distance running late spring 08, I will be much leaner (and faster!) january 7th sounds good. I will keep lifting like a man until then (currently on strength 2, man of constant obligation...)

So what will the challenge be? Biggest strength gains per exercise? % body fat loss? Most consistent workout record?
