Default Overdoing it to combine NROL w/ Yoga & Cardio?

Just starting NROL, but I already do yoga 2x a week and take a high intensity interval training class 1x a week (the class does incorporate weights but it's more of a cardio workout). Is it overkill to combine this with NROL 2x a week? Do I need to forego some of my classes? I'd be starting w/ the break-in program.

I've been doing short yoga sessions on my off days to deal with an injury and its been fine. Bodies need to rest though so you may want to integrate your HIIT into the end of one or two of your workouts and cut down your yoga sessions to half an hour.

I don't think it's a problem, especially if you are only doing NROL twice a week. I do NROL 3 or 4 times a week, and on my non-lifting days I like to run. I also try to do a pilates session and some yoga once or twice a week to help core strength and mobility.

It also depends on your goals. If your goal is to gain lots of muscle mass, then the cardio may work against that. If your goal is general strength and fitness, then I think doing both lifting and cardio is good. And I think the mobility and relaxation gained from yoga are also good for general health.

Good luck with NROL. After plateauing on weight machines, I started NROL earlier this year and have been gaining strength and mostly enjoying the workouts. I also started with the Break-In, then did Fat Loss I, Fat Loss II, and Strength I. I just started Fat Loss III this week.
