Default Why towel biceps curls?

The Hypertrophy II Program includes towel biceps curls. What is the advantage of doing these over regular biceps curls? I am not really interested in bringing any hand towels to the gym...

Just use the towel that you use to wipe sweat off the benches.

I've seen towel bicep curls recommended to increase grip strength. So, they're probably a good workout for both biceps and forearm. How much better than simply holding the dumbbells, I don't know...

Grip strength, definitely. They will train you to squeeze your hands while lifting.

It also insures good form. Try doing them too fast and see what happens.
