Default Two weeks after FL II (eternal beginner)?

I'm curious about what others did after FL II. Did you take the full two weeks? What did you do during that time?

I'm going to take at least a week off since my knees feel like they could use some rest. They don't hurt, but I feel some pressure in them when I climb stairs. I figure they're telling me to cool it for a bit. That being said, I don't want to remain inactive and I'm assuming Lou doesn't mean "do nothing" when he says to take the two weeks off. My goal at this point is still to lower my body fat %, so I'm thinking about swimming or biking, both because they don't pound on the knees as much as running does (which is what I've been doing for my cardio).

I took 2 weeks off from weights after FLII. It was my knees that helped me to decide to take 2 instead of 1 week. During the break I did non-weight exercises like warmups (crunches, pushups) and running. After the 2 weeks I felt good when starting Hypertrophy I.

I think that I only took 1 week off (could be wrong). But yeah, stay active --- I used this time to repair privacy fence. It was quiet the workout. It made me glad to see the gym again (smile).
