Default Where to start

I used the NROL program during the late summer into the fall of 2007. I followed the break in program, did fat loss 1 and started fat loss 2.

I worked out at 5 AM in the morning but my wood stove demanded my attention as the weather turned colder. My precious workout time was now time to get the fire going for the day. I did a lot of wood chopping but stopped working out. Winter came and went and I never got back on the program. It is really difficult to work out any other time because of family or being too tired after the kids get to bed. I tried in the spring of 2008 but did not last long and I eventually stopped.

I am ready and dedicated to starting back up again. I have been very active this summer walking, digging, moving dirt, and moving gravel. I am not sure if I should start with the break in or jump right in to fat loss.

Please advise.

i would do the break in first. even if you only run through half the break workouts its better to prime the pump. that way you get used to the soreness associated with lifting again and you will start recovering faster. that means you can kick it up a bit more int he FL. thats just my take on it. i have tried it both ways. i originally did bi then fl 1 and half of fl2 and life took over. when i went back almot a year later i started with fl1 and it was pretty miserable for me and my program adherence suffered as a result. this time i started with bi and now i am about 5 or 6 months into the plan and still making progress and still excited to lift each day.
