Default new person 2 questions

I have been doing abs diet and wanted a more serious lifting program but i have 2 questions:
1. a few years back i tore my left pec, i never had surgery but have a indentation. I use dumbells and fairly heavy ones 80(can i do the program and not fbench with barbells?

2. also i notice there are no curls /triceps does anyone really feel like their arms get developed without these and does anyone do these after routines?

Did you read the front of the book about the compound movements vs. isolation movements?

I think you would be fine with dumbbells. But as for the second question, there's no way you read the book if you have to ask that..

You can do dumbbell bench presses but not barbell bench presses?
