Question Supplement Advice

I am considering Joint Support supplements and BCAAs. Being a "man of contant obligation" it is difficult for me to eat the perfect diet but I want to make sure i'm putting the right things in my body to assist in muscle growth and quicker recovery, as well as reducing joint inflamation. I'd prefer to take them in sapsule form. I'm fairly active as well. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations for me? Thanks

BCAA discussion here.

What joint support supplement are you talking about?

I've been looking at GNC and they have their GNC Triflex which includes Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM. And then there's Triflex Sport, Triflex SAM-e, Triflex with Hyaluronic Acid and Triflex Bone & Joint. Each with their own special offering. I'm just seeing if anyone had any comment on any of these.

Thank you for the BCAA thread also.

I took GNC Triflex for over a year. Didn't notice any improvement.

Fish oil has given me the most benefit for inflammation issue (n=1). I get at least 3 gms. of EPA/DHA daily (comes out to 6 pills).

I take 2 tablespoons of Udo's 3-6-9 Oil Blend everyday...one in the morning with breakfast, one at night with a protein shake...that seems to help. I also take Universal Nutrition's Animal Flex http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/univ/flex.html

I was wary at first, but decided to give it a shot becasue nothing else seemed to work. I am now a believer. I suffer from tendonitis and bursitis in both shoulders, and since I've been taking it, I have had no problems whatsoever.
