Default Dumbell Push Press question

It says "Dip your knees and use your momentum to push the weight up".

Stupid question I guess but does this mean I dip my knees, then as I undip them I begin pushing the weight up?

In otherwords my upper body will be moving up as I begin pushing the weights up thus I will be able to lift a lot more.

Correct?

yes. This is pretty natural to do - if you load up something just too heavy for you to lift you'll use your legs to help you a little.

So, as an experiment, pick up some DBs that are 10-15 lbs heavier than you could do as a strict press and try it. You'll naturally dip your knees a little and use your legs to help you press the weight. That's the movement. It's a cheat for a strict press, but a valid exercise on its own.

I did them like that for the first time last night and was wondering if I was doing them correctly.
