Default Combining best of NROL and HIAH

Anyone have success or suggestions for combining the best of NROL and the Huge in a Hurry concepts? I am sold on the total body training, interval cardio, etc, but wondering if anyone has seen or tried anything pulling the two programs together.

Out of curiosity... why? I'd think you'd have to do both programs yourself to figure out what works for you, and THEN combine those things into your own training.

I've got both, and I don't see a way of combining them. And, like Tom, I don't see why you would want to do so.

The HIAH really emphasizes the speed of movement and rep counting, stopping when any change in form, speed, range occurs. NROL seems to emphasize the 312 or 113 types of tempos during the lifts. I like that both use full body workouts and mix it up from workout to workout with A,B,C plans. Both use a heavy, medium, light day during the week. NROL seems to use more supersets or alternating sets, which you can't really do when you are counting reps with HIAH. I am trying both programs and will probably put together the combination that works best for me, but was wondering if someone has already done that and had some thoughts on it.

So anybody else out there that has read and completed parts of both programs with any insight?

Part of me wants to say "You can combine both programs, but if you are asking how to do it, you aren't ready to combine both programs." But, I won't.

You can sort of do NROL with HIAH concepts, but you'll need to make more than just surface changes.

If you'll notice, HIAH has fewer exercises per day than NROL does. That's because one major goal of HIAH is avoiding fatigue.

If you try it, here's a tip from my days doing Muscle Logic/EDT. In supersets/alternating sets/etc. I tend to get confused on how many reps I've done, so I take a pen and paper to tally your reps as I end each set.

There's more to just combining them, so I'll suggest that you do one, then the other, instead. If you combine them, and don't get good results, you'll never know what you did wrong.
