Default Alternating sets and rest

Am I not supposed to be resting btw legs/arms, or in btw. excersizes?

Cause I'm inclined to rest for 15-30 seconds after doing my right leg on step ups, for example, before I do my left leg, and then I rest for the same period before doing shoulder presses, resting after each arm..

Am I being a pussy?

Should I just rest after I've done each leg or arm, ie. only in between excersizes?

Supposed to only be between exercises (ie, go directly to left leg after right).

Ah..

Ok, I'll try..

But my grip strength is beginning to fail after one leg is done, with the weight I'm using now (90)..

I'll have to try and do them faster, though I think it's more the jostling up and down that is having this effect..

Don't worry, your grip will get stronger.

I notice it in cardio with steps/lunges. By the time I get through my second leg I'm sucking wind.

How high is the step - maybe you need to drop the weight and raise the step?
Check your technique that you're not getting momentum/help from the back leg You should be doing nearly all the work with the front leg.
You could use a barbell instead of DBs.
You could just carry on and trust that your grip will come up.

It's about 3" below knee level, and no way I can think of to get a lower step (in the gym, anyways)..

I'll just keep plugging away, I guess..

But yeah, even with the shoulder presses I feel inclined to take a break btw arms..

It'll get better, I guess..

drop the weight & raise the step, not lower the step. Find something higher so you are doing more work and then hold less weight in your hands.

Raise the step, I meant..

No practical or safe way to do it..
