Default definition of workout day vs. non workout day

when looking at calorie requirements in the new rules of lifting, it says eating certain amount for maintenance ect. if your having a NO work out day and than a certain amount for your workout day. what about if your just having a cardio day? obviously the book only recommends 2-3 weight training workouts a week. is the cardio day considered a non workout day or a workout day?

Default

in the context of NROL4W - workout day means a day that you are doing the weight training workout from the book and a non-workout day means the other days (no matter what else you might be doing that day).
