Question What does "bonking" mean?

Keep it clean here folks ...

Seriously I am curious. I seen it used here before and today during Fat Loss 1 B I ran out of gas after the BSS. I did 1 set of RDL and Ball but I didn't feel good.

I was out of gas - or was I "bonked"?

Pretty much.
How'd you figure you'd feel if someone bonked you on the head?

I normally do my lifting before lunch (but at lunchtime) and bonk. Today I ate and then was lifting 30 minutes later. Much better results!

I usually have my oatmeal breakfast and head down to workout shortly after. This time I was delayed and it was an hour + before I got there. I was good for a while and then the door slammed shut.

Thanks for the feedback

Bonking is the same as hitting the wall. It's when your glycogen stores are depleted and your muscles don't have the energy required to function as you want them to. You may get dizzy, feel light headed, and even have blurry vision. In that condition you would need to eat or drink something.
While lifting I have experienced similar but less intense symptoms, like feeling really tired and a bit nauseated, but I can recover with a little rest and water.

dizzy - yup
light headed - yup
blurry vision - yup

Stopping felt right. It did take a while to get "right" - 3 -5 hours

Interesting .....
