Default HYP I or HYP II

I finished NROLFW and am now doing NROL - I skipped the break in stage and went straight to FLII - I am wondering what would be logically next HYP I or II? Would it be better to do I, then II on most of the programs?

I guess this is where I found NROLFW easier. There was no guesswork as to what to do next!

How about following one of the profiles described in the book?

Pick a program based on your goals. If you want Fat loss, do a fat loss workout. If you want Strength ...

All of them are good workouts. If you are just looking to improve your overall fitness, choose the one that looks the least like a program you'd design for yourself. It'll challenge you more by keeping you out of your comfort zone.

That is what I'm thinking I'll do. Though none of the personality profiles really fit, I think I'll go with "Lifter 3: A (wo-)man of constant obligation." I like this one b/c there is only 1 hypertrophy, which I dont' really care about, and all three strengths. My only concern is that Lou says it's for an "intermediate to advanced lifter" and he also says that one can be considered a beginner until one has been lifting at least a year. And I've only been at it since late October. Still, I think after NROL4W I'll be able to do this, don't you?

Yeah - newdawn, I would think you can! I started last Oct as well with NROLFW! I just jumped into FLII, but I only have the 8 rep workouts left. I have to say FLII is hard! I especially didn't do well at first with the Bulgarian Split Squat with Overhead Press.... & I didn't particularly like the static lunges with the barbell either!

I think the eternal beginner is a nicely-laid out program.
