Default 3 Weeks off with only 1 week left in program

I managed to get sick and will have to take a break from lifting for about 3 weeks. I have already completed 3 of each exercise in Strength 1, so I only have about a week left. I was wondering how I should come back into it. Would it be best to finish off the last week and then jump straight into strength 2? I would think the week off at the end of Strength 1 would be unnecessary since I just had 3 weeks off. The only other option I could think of would be to skip the last week and go straight to Strength 2?

I would skip it. It's not that big of a deal. After 3 weeks rest you should have more than enough strength to go back into S2. But of course ease back into it, 3 weeks off is a decent amount of time off. I wouldn't work with 100% 1RM weight till about your 2nd maybe 3rd week into Strength 2. But only you can judge that.

Yeah that makes sense; thanks for the advice! The programs seem pretty similar anyway, so I couldn't see it being a big problem. It is frustrating taking a big break after doing it religiously, but I don't think it's too bad of a setback.
