Default Where to Start

I have just finished 12 weeks of the TNT diet and have been following the lifting from the book. It's based on NROL and was wondering where I should start. The break-in and some of the fat loss programs are very similar to the TNT workouts.

Thanks for any advice!

Depends on your goals...what do you want to accomplish?

I've been on some sort of low-carb diet (South Beach, TNT) for 16 months now and have lost 40 pounds and have about 15-20 more to go. I'm going to try the Abs Diet program just to shake my metabolism up a bit.

My goals would be to lose that extra weight while building some muscle.

I've looked over the book a bit more and I think I'm leaning towards the Hypertrophy I. My question now is about the break-in. Should I do it for a couple weeks or do one of the fat loss programs first as a break in to NROL proper instead of the TNT version.

Congratulations on your weight loss! Impressive!

Either the hypertrophy programs or the FL programs are good and you'll continue to lose weight while eating at a deficit. As I recall from TNT, the programs are similar to the FL programs in NROL. You probably don't need to do the Break-in program if you do FLI, but if you decide to do HTI, yeah, do the Break-in for a week or 2.

Good luck.

I went from the TNT Advanced workout to NROL. I did Break In for two weeks then started Hyp-I after a week off. I just finished Hyp-II and started Strength-I this week. I have really enjoyed the programs in that order. I have stayed on TNT, but changed to Plan B for a while and now moving to Plan D.

Just from a glance the Advanced Workouts look like a combination of the FL and Hyp routines. I'm planning on taking a week off in mid January (due to a trip). The break-in seems very watered down compared to what I've been doing and with that week off I don't want to slip back.

many people dismiss the break-in workouts as watered down until they actually do them.
I'd at least do one of each just to see.

I also went from TNT advanced to NROL. I did the break-in and was surprised at how much benefit I gained from it - particularly my lower body.
