Help with program order
I have been doing NROL for almost 2 years to help me train for Rugby, but I have yet to get the program in an order that I like. Since Sept I have completed HPY I and I am about to finish Strength I. I have had quite a bit of success so far this time through, gaining about 10lbs of mostly good weight (waist size has only increased a bit and not much added fat). I am 27, 5'10" and weight about 190lbs right now. I do not want to gain much more weight, I have had several knee surgeries and my knees feel better when I am not heavier than when I am now. My rugby season starts in May so that is the focus of my training, to be fit (you run at least 5 miles of interval type running) and strong for then. I can lift up to 4 days a week and usually do interval training on some off days or after a lift. I am also a teacher so I like to focus my training to have vacations be my rest periods because I like to travel during those times. The time periods I have are 6 weeks, 8 weeks until my season begins. I do not enjoy FL I and II, and like I said my goals are overall fitness, but also increasing strength and power without my weight increasing (would actually like to slim down by about 5lbs for the knees) I enjoy the olympic exercises the most. Any thoughts about the order I should do the remaining exercises to prepare for rugby season?
