Default Need advice on programs.

Hey guys. I have severe mobility issues from being a toe walker for my whole life. Its been suggested that I do various stretches with a foam roller and such which is what I am doing. I have a question on programs. Im currently doing fat loss 1 but it seems like due to my mobility issues there is a lot of exercises I cant do. Anything with dead lifting or squatting I cant do. I also cant do the jumping dumbbell press because when I bend down I go on my toes and then when I go up it puts pressure on my back which I dont think is a good sign. It makes me feel like im not getting a complete work out at the gym. Do you guys know which program in the book would give me a completeworkout with my limitations? Maybe I should use a program from a different book? I also have the abs diet, and mucle logic. I want to maximize my workout routine until I get my flexibility down. Thanks guys.

it's probably better for you to do a more basic break in than the one in the book, focus on posture, flexibility and functional movement. Just type functional movement into google and you should get some good rehab ideas. A physio will tell you some good exercises as well if you want to pay for a session there..

You have such terrible limitations, I think your first order of business should be SMR and dynamic and static stretching.

All the programs include at least deadlifts, if not squats. You need to develop your mobility and fast. I'm not even sure I'd recommend you do any resistance exercise until then. Cardio, of a kind that works a wider ROM. Stair climbing, using every other step, high knee skips and body weight work such as BW squats, king deadlifts, etc.

You don't need to workout at all to lose fat.

It won't be optimal, but if you take time to concentrate on your issues, you will make far better progress later. Trying to work around the limitations could cause imbalances.

Everything's connected, so a tight left hamstring could cause you to injure your right shoulder. You don't have to be perfect to workout, but make sure you're healthy enough first.

Stretching and mobility can be a workout in itself. Nutrition will take care of the fat loss.
