Default Starting Strength I, looking for guidance....

I finished HT I and loved it. I feel better than I have in years.

With regards to Strength I, am I reading the workout right?

Workout A,

squat reps - 6, 1, 6, 1, 10-12, 15-20 - I do this routine 6 times with 3 minutes between each rep?

Bulg split squat, Step up, Back extension, Swiss ball crunch all in a row following the # of reps and rest between each?

Or is it do 3 sets of 15 Bulg split squat and step up, then move on to 2 sets of 10 back ext. and swiss ball crunch?

Thanks in advance for the help. I'm just hoping I can fit this all in an already busy schedule. HT I was great with an average of about 1 hour (give or take) for a full workout. If I'm reading Strength I right, it's almost 2 hours for each workout?

I don't have the book, but until someone else comes in here I will tell you what I think, using an example weight.

Squat
6 reps at 200 lbs
1 rep at 285 lbs
6 reps at 210 lbs
1 reps at 300 lbs
12 reps at 145 lbs
20 reps at 100 lbs

15 Split squats
15 Step ups
15 Split squats
15 Step ups
15 Split squats
15 Step ups

10 back extensions
10 crunches
10 back extensions
10 crunches

16 total sets - shouldn't be more than 60 minutes. 24 minutes for the squats - 18 for the second pair and 12 for the last pair.

Yes this is correct. I just started Strength 1 yesterday. Split squat/step-ups with no rest are hard!!

Gotcha, I was reading the workout as having to do this whole squat routine 6 times in a row.

Thanks for the feedback.

I actually don't think the back extension and crunches are "supersetted." I think they are done separate.

You're right, feralBoy, I just finished Strength I two weeks ago and it was straight sets for the back extensions and crunches:

10 back extensions
10 back extensions
10 crunches
10 crunches
