Question Superset Explanation

Hello all NROL'ers out there.

I am new to this program and the book and I am sorry that I just haven't figured out the Cosgrove Superset that is used in the book.

The way I understood it is that regardless of the program you switched immediately to the next exercise without any rest in between.

I now get the feeling that my understanding of the NROL superset may be incorrect.

Can anyone out there offer me some direction on this.

when it says "superset with full rest" it means full rest even within the superset - Exercise 1, rest, Exercise 2, rest
(e.g. Break-in A for Lunges & rows)

when it says "superset with no rest between exercises" it means Ex 1, Ex 2, rest (see Strength 1, Workout A)

when it says "giant set with no rest until final exercise" - you do that, Ex 1, Ex2, Ex3,Ex4, rest (as in FLIII workout A)

The terminology bugged me, too. I learned the meaning of supersets the same way you did.

These are alternating sets rather than supersets. There's no standard for terminology in this industry and that can easily cause confusion.
