Default Rack Pulls question

Hey guys. I am currently doing the break in program. Im using rack pulls as a replacement for deadlifts because I cant get low enough to deadlift. My question is where am I supposed to feel the pulls? I did them and felt it mostly in my back. I didnt feel it in my legs to much. It also felt arkward. Thanks guys.

what rack height are you using specifically? I find that I feel much more comfortable doing rack pulls as opposed to full range deadlifts. Also if you could video your technique, that would help more than anything.
