Default question on fat loss III workout B

it has me doing step ups twice. for the first giant set it says 10-12 reps. and on the second giant set it says 20 reps. does that mean 20 each leg or 10 on each side. becuase on Workout A it told me to do lunge with side bend and in the info it told me if your shooting for 20 reps do 10 on each side, so i wonder does the same apply for the step ups. and also i try to change the steps as well such as i use dumbells for 10-12 and on the second part i used a barbell of 90lbs.

20 reps on each side for the 2nd giant ss. It doesn't matter if you use DB's or BB's....just make sure you are using a high step and that you aren't using your non-working leg to help you up.

whooza oly bar plus 2 25# plates for step ups? That's frickin amazing!! I usually use weights on the first set and body weight on the second set. I have 8 risers on my step so it's above knee level giving me a great range of motion. I found that doing them slowly helps me from cheating.

Yea I thought I must have made a typo on my log sheet when I did my first B workout. I actually went back to the book to verify - I just couldn't believe it. If you do the max (12 reps) each leg for the first giant set, and 20 reps each leg for the second set... that's 176 reps! "Brutal" doesn't even come close to describing this kind of punishment, and so far I've "only" been doing 160 reps.
