is there some where to go to find personal trainers who follow lou's book?

I already had a trainer I had been working with for a couple of months when I read NROLW. I asked her if she was familiar with it, she wasn't, so I gave her the basics and told her I wanted to try the program. She bought the book and has been super supportive about it. In fact- she said "I wish all my female clients would read this book." I know that she now has a couple of other clients on the program (I'm in week 2).

So... the best advice I have is- ask.

yeah thats what i thought id have to do.
i figured though that there may be an organisation simply for personnal trainers who follow the book on these fourms.
maybe somone should start one

I don't know that there's a reason to. A good trainer can come up with a program just as good on their own. All you'd be doing by going to a trainer to do a program you could do yourself is to have someone with you counting reps, checking form, and whatnot.

A trainer will benefit those people that don't have perfect form and need encouragement to squeeze out an extra rep or two when they want to give up. Plus, having scheduled, expensive workouts is a motivator to not skip the gym.

I'm saying from the trainer's point of view.
If getting a trainer and having them run through the book with you is what you want, whatever. I just don't see why a trainer would be using the book for their trainees without a special request.

I know how I phrased it prolly didn't come out that way, however.

I imagine it would be quite boring for the trainer involved.

I agree with Aoife and justinbass - the point of having a trainer is to get an individualized program built to address your particular needs. Specifying that the workouts conform to NROL guidelines (compound exercises, supersets etc) isn't an unreasonable request, and still gives room for the trainer to do what you're paying him/her for.
