Default I think my head exploded

So...has this ever happened to anyone. I went to the gym today to do Hyp 1B. It was 3x15 day. I go to do squats and do 7 warm up squats, at 45lbs. Then I do 15 at 95. I sensed it was a little too heavy for me to finish all three sets with 30 seconds rest, but I decided to go for it anyway.

So, I get to about rep 13 on the second set, and I felt like my head exploded. A crazy pain in the back of my head, neck, and ears. I contemplated completing the workout, but was like, forget it. My ears and head still hurt 2 hours later.

I was looking in the mirror to check out my form while doing the squats, which I know is a bad idea. I'm thinking maybe my neck was in a weird postion or something. Not sure what else it could be. I heard maybe dehydration, or high blood pressuse could cause this. Has this happened to anyone else?

Well, assuming you're not gonna die in a day or so from an aneurism...

I'm actually wiping certain parts of my hard drive as I type this. You know...just in case.

I'm not too worried. Bleeding out of the ears is normal right?

Don't wipe it. Just encrypt it with an 85 random character password. then 25 years later someone will figure it out and your "now tame" pr0n will be worth millions on the interweb.

lol.

I've pinched a nerve that's felt like that. No idea if it's what you've done. My neck is messed (it's straight, actually, rather than that normal curve) and I have a number of issues relating to it. Every once in a while I move just so, usually to the side with a slight tilt and some other body motion... and bam! Headache lasts for some time and I honestly feel like drilling a hole to relieve the pressure. It's only ever been a pinched nerve for me, and time and a forced amount of relaxation of the muscles have made it go away. But it like totally sucks. It's like the whole backside of my head, and I find my shoulders tend to extra tense as well.

Yeah, totally not sure what it is. It lasted all day yesterday. sucks. I figured i'll take 2 days off the gym which sucks even more. If it happens again, i'll see if trepanation works, as per your advice.

Also, thanks for the retirement advice. Who needs IRA's.

I actually think that's what it is, as well. I have been searching for the past couple of days online, trying to figure it out.

I went back to the gym yesterday, tried squating, and gave up after the first set. Deadlifts were ok. Got through most of the split squats/step ups, but then it came back again. So, two strikes on that Hyp 1B 3x15 workout.

Oh well. I'm taking off a week, hoping it goes away. I have a sinus cold, which I think is partly the cause. If it doesn't go away, i'll just have to learn to work through it or try to prevent it during workouts.

Thanks for the link. I like how the link goes to links which goes to links. I feel like i've fallen down the rabbit hole.
