Default Crooked Squat

So, today I was doing the 5x5 program for Hypertrophy 1. I noticed on the last two sets, I was kinda crooked. I noticed it because the barbell hit the support bar, on my right side.

I wondered it I was lining myself up with the bar crooked, so I made an effort to line myself perfect on the last set. So, I guess it wasn't that. Could this be just a muscle imbalance issue, or fatigue. Should I worry about it, or will it work itself out. Or is it a sign that I should be going down in weight. It was 15lbs heavier than I ever squated.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.

If it's 15 lbs more than your max squat then I'd just assume it was from that. Almost nobody does their max with perfect form, especially 15 lbs more than their last one.

Did you squat with a good, even weight besides your max?

If it continually happens, it might be a sign of muscle imbalance. But the first time on a new max is probably ok.

Aside from making sure you're standing correctly in the rack, make sure you have the bar centered on your back. A little bit to one side of the other could make you wobble some.
