Default Hampton Trapeze Shrug Hex Bar

I got a local gym equipment retailer that quote me $215 (CDN) for an Hampton Multi-Hex Bar, like this one:

http://www.ironcompany.com/ind ex.asp...OD&ProdID=1471

I'm thinking of buying it, the price is right, my question to you:

If a do normal Deadlift with an Olympic Barbell, how does using this Hex-Bar differ, in term of exercise?

Will it be more comparable to doing Squat (same muscles involve?).

Is it better to have that bar with a diamond shape or an hexagonal shape (for legs clearance).

trap bar, gerard trap bar, parallel grip deadlift, shrug bar - SFUK Reviews

Now, if a cheap (no-name) shrug Hex-Bar like this, cost $180 CDN, does having this one with built-in stand (to ease loading & off-loading plates) worth the extra $35?

Thanks in advance.

Another deadlift question

I asked a similar question recently, and this might help.
