Default Heart Rate during FL3

I've been using a hr monitor during these crazy supersets, and wanted to share to see if I'm in the right range. On average during the giant sets I am pumping at 170. During the one minute rest I go down to about 150.

Does this sound about right?

Thanks a TON!

As opposed to what? FLIII is not meant to be HIIT, though it may seem that way. If you're really working yourself, the EPOC will last up to 48 hours, as opposed to HIIT which lasts about 2 hours.

I guess I mean as opposed to what everyone esle is experiencing. I have no idea I was just putting it out there to see if my HR numbers sounded 'normal'.

Do you think it does?

Are you saying that even though I feel like HIIT, the effects last 48 hours? What is EPOC?

Thanks

EPOC = Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption.

The body oxidizes fat to mobilize it (transport from adipose to blood). Once in the blood, the body may consume it for energy or excrete it.

I'd say those numbers sound fine.

Heatrae:

I'm 48. My HR can go as high a 170/172. It drops to 150/140 after a minute or so. Hope this helps.
