Default Limited equipment

I dontgo to a gym, but i practice martial arts at this academy which has a weights room, and I can't afford a gym membership on top of that. Problem is there's no squat rack, I can do all the lifts except squats and lunges with the barbell on the neck, front squats would have to be power cleaned up first. Any recommendations? we have a smith machine, but I hate that thing lol (alwyn's rule:don't do the machines:p)
although I'm obviously willing to use it if its the next best thing.
Thanks guys. Btw my program would be break in then hyp 1

Is there a bench press area in the gym? If it's open, you might be able to set the supports high enough that you could get underneath. You wouldn't have to clean it up this way, but you'd have to be careful as you wouldn't have any safety supports.

Probably better would be doing dumbbell squats.

Or, if you're already accustomed to squatting, you could attempt to do some one-leg squats.

I've never done lunges with a bar on my back. I've always done them with dumbbells in hand. If you don't have dumbbells, you might be able to hold a weight plate against your chest while lunging.

You should be able to clean anything you can front squat. If you think that will work, then use the front squat when back squats are prescribed. Use DB's for all single-leg work.
