Default New here, starting after bad injury.

Hi Folks, just found this site.

I was injured pretty bad in November after an accident and spent 2 months on the couch barely able to move. (8 broken ribs and broken hand) Amazing how fast you can go downhill after zero activity.

I purchased a nice elliptical in Jan. (Lifefitness X5i advanced) because walking hurt my ribs and the treadmill I had was 15 years old and just about dead. The elliptical was easy for me to do and built up my stamina pretty fast. (wife has bad knees and liked the non impact elliptical)

I'm 47 and weigh 235 pounds at 5-11 tall. I'm a very stocky with a heavy build. (kinda ape like!)

I have lifted on and off in the past but nothing major.

Picked up NROL and love it. My plans are to eat clean as diets have failed me in the past. The weight will drop as I have lost 7 pounds already.

I'm on my second week of the Break in program and I feel the pain in a good way. Plan on weight loss program after that.

Hope to learn a lot and hopefully contribute as well.

Sorry for being long winded!

John
